چکیده
We report, for the first time, the dependence of the multiplicity of different fragments on the system size employing a quantum molecular dynamics model. This dependence is extracted from the simulations of symmetric collisions of Ca+Ca, Ni+Ni, Nb+Nb, Xe+Xe, Er+Er, Au+Au and U+U at incident energies between 50 A MeV and 1 A GeV. We find that the multiplicity of different fragments scales with the size of the system which can be parameterized by a simple power law.

Shell corrections are important in the determination of nuclear ground– state masses and shapes. Although general arguments favor a regular single– particle dynamics, symmetry–breaking and the presence of chaotic layers cannot be excluded. The latter provide a natural framework that explains the observed differences between experimental and computed masses.

The nuclear medium influence on the dihadron neutrinoproduction is investigated for the first time, using the data obtained with SKAT bubble chamber. An indication is obtained that the nuclear attenuation of the dihadron is more expressed for kinematically closest hadron pairs. The experimental data on the dihadron attenuation and on the ratio of the dihadron to single-hadron yields are compare...

We describe results of a high-statistics finite size scaling analysis of 4d compact U(1) lattice gauge theory with Wilson action at the phase transition point. Using a multicanonical hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm we generate data samples with more than 150 tunneling events between the metastable states of the system, on lattice sizes up to 18 4. We performed a first analysis within the Borgs-Kot...
